Skate Competition
The competition will run between 10am & 2pm.

Live Music
There will be two up and coming local acts playing at the Skate Competition.
Final Lies: If you’re looking for catchy hooks, chunky riffs, pounding beats and dynamic vocal lines, then look no further than Canberra based 5-piece band. Final Lies will be playing fast and furious sets in between skate runs.
Still Cool: A brand new freshness out of Canberra performing local Hip Hop and will be busting out some rhymes on the day.

The Vikings Great Carp Catch
Registration 9am – 2pm Tuggeranong Town Park (opposite the Skate Park)
A free fishing competition for all the family and friends to enjoy. No registrations will be accepted after 1pm.
Prizes awarded in various categories including a mystery prize 9am – 2pm, Presentations of prizes at 4pm Lake Tuggeranong foreshore.

Dawn till Dusk Charity Football Match
The Tuggeranong United Football Club (TUFC) is hosting a 12 hour non-stop charity football match in conjunction with the 2009 Tuggeranong Community Festival. 7am – 7pm and games will take place at Kambah 1 & 2 playing fields, Drakeford Drive, Kambah and a donation from participating clubs and/or individuals would be appreciated. Roving stilt walkers and circus acts from CircExtreme – Amusements, rides plus side show alley games for all ages – Free children’s activities from 10am till 2pm – Craft, food and information stalls.
Family Fun Day in Tuggeranong Park & on the water
Come and try it
| 9:30am — 11:00am | Tuggeranong Archery Club is hosting a “come and try it.” The public will be instructed in the art of archery by skilled archers in a safe environment. Come along for your free session. Meet at the end of Soward Drive, Greenway. |
Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scouts “Free Canoeing” and KubKar racing
| 10:00am — 3:00pm | Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scouts offer introductory canoeing for all ages at ‘The Beach’. Come along for your free session. Last rides at be at 3pm. You can also participate in a great Cub activity which is racing cars that have been made by cubs for the Annual KubKar challenge. This event is held all around the world by cubs. Tuggeranong Model Power Boat Association
Lake activities from 10am to 2 pm and model boat display in the vicinity of the Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scouts club. The Tuggeranong Model Power Boats will display various model power boats both on and off the water. The model boats can reach speeds of 110 km/h. Their manoeuvres and are a great spectacle. The models will be on display when not running in the water for everyone to have a closer look.
Cars and Bikes in the Park
ACT MG Car Club the Motor Riders Association, Holden Commodores, Combined 4WD Clubs, The Minnie Clubbers and the Cobras Display and
much, much more. 12 noon till 5pm next to the children’s park. A unique display of loved and admired pieces of road machinery from a yesterday era.
A Country Corner
| 10:00am — 2:00pm | For children 12 years and under. Pat the farm animals at the patting paddock. Have your face painted, have fun on the jumping castle all for FREE. |

Main Stage Activities
12.00pm
Rere O Te Tarakakao a traditional New Zealand Maori performing arts including songs, haka, stick games, and a children’s performance. Highly engaging and will get energy levels up!
1.10pm
Fresh Funk Dance School is a hip hop dance program at Tuggeranong Arts Centre offering classes for all levels as well as boys only classes. Fresh Funk’s dancers are unrivalled with their energetic and vibrant shows.
1.30pm
Sing Australia is all about encouraging people to sing while also promoting Australian songs and. Their singing covers a large range of popular Australian and well known songs. The group is highly entertaining, polished and dubbed with some humor. Not to be missed as the critics would say.
2.00pm
Circ Extreme is a recreational activity for younger children and teens that provides a fun way to develop coordination. Areas of skill taught range from basic circus skills to things like, fire-spinning, juggling, acrobatics and performing.
2.30pm
Elvis comes alive and will perform some of the great hits that changed music and entertainment.
3.10pm
Legs Dance School with non-stop entertainment!! The concert will feature ballet, tap, jazz, street funk and acrobatics plus song and dance and much, much more.
3.30pm
Velvette as one of Canberra’s premier live acts, this a six piece group plays originals/cover acts and merges the flavours of funk, soul, R.N.B & Rock. Velvette’s style is unique, masterful and in a class of its own.
4.15pm
Bellyup Belly Dances presents a modern fusion of folkloric belly dance with cabaret influences. Their performance style involves a burst of colour and movement.
4.40pm
Elvis performing some of the greats.

The Salvation Army brass band and timbrels will be sure to entertain.
